Manager's Job Advertised

According to BBC Tees, the manager's job was finally advertised yesterday with the LMA. The deadline for applications is Friday.

I thought we were getting an announcement at the end of this week?

No they said the end of last week.

Yes they said at the end of last week that an announcement would be made by the end of this week.

The announcement could well be we've advertised the job with recruitment specialists Mario's Barbers, 562a, Leytonstone High Street.

Like most job ads, imagine person who gonna get it, knows already. Imagine retained list is already sorted in some blokes mind. Lets hope 10 get released at least, any less and I wont be happy, but I fear a lot less, something like 4 or 5

Different circles perhaps, but not my experience. Applied for 7, got 4, was never told I had any of them.

Most jobs especially loc gov. Have someone already doing the job generally temp. If anyone working for me was after another position I would enquirer if there was a 'sitting tenant' It is Union rules that all jobs have to be advertised in loc. gov
