The Church IS open before the game but will be closed afterwards.

Just been confirmed by the landlord's son, so it is a reliable source

Following up on a fax sent to me by the police regarding instructions for all bus organisers to give to drivers, they listed a number of pubs close to the ground that will let away fans in and these are all open but will be closed between the hours of 16.45pm - 17.30pm after the game.

These will let home and away fans in.

The Church Inn on Willbutts lane.

The Cemetery junction of Sandy Lane and Bury Road.

The Ratcliffe Arms Attached to the Motorama Stand.

After reading contradictory postings on the message boards er-indoors rang the Church and spoke to the landlady.
She seemed surprised we were even asking about closing before the game as she said up to Thursday tea time she had no instructions from anyone to close other than the short time after the game(which is the norm) and said away fans are more than welcome. clappp

I hope this clears up any confusion and stops my red hot phone ringing about enquiries as to pubs being open. clappp

Mind I know an ambulance driver in Worksop crashed his ambulance at high speed, was in a coma for eight months and when he woke up he was gay. Well that's what he claimed anyway, although he did have a wife and three kids.
