So lately I have been reading all to often on facebook that we are where we are because our season ticket prices are so low. Now I always believed this was a load of rubbish so I decided to actually look at the stats and it's quite interesting. I have made a few assumptions along the way but it should be a decent guide. I have taken each league 2 club and listed their lowest adult season ticket price. I then looked at the average home attendance this season and took an estimate that 60% of this would be around the mark for adult season ticket holders. In it we ranked 15th in the table for adult season ticket sales (based on my assumptions) The teams below us were as follows:

Wycombe - currently 13th in the table
Leyton O - say no more
Stevenage - 5th in the table
Blackpool - 7th in the table
Crawley - 20th
Newport - 23rd
Barnet - 16th
Morcambe - 17th
Accrinngton - 11th

Kind of destroys this myth that keeps being bandied about saying that we are where we are due to season ticket prices being so low. 2 in the play offs and 2 not far off.
