I'm now concerned that the Trust is overspending after they sent my son a Christmas present.

The postage alone nearly equals the value of his annual membership. How will they ever build up enough money for the Venezia masterplan? They might have to rethink the plans to transform Venezia into a Michelin starred restaurant or at least sacrifice the Gregg's megastore and shopping village.

Thanks to whoever's responsible by the way, I'm sure he'll love whatever's inside.

Please tell me this is tongue in cheek? If your child has received a Christmas present that must mean you too are a member of the Trust. It was a gesture suggested at the AGM which as a member you could (maybe were) at the meeting where that decision was discussed and agreed to give the junior members a small gift as a good will gesture and to give the friendly festive feeling.

With all the proverbial storms that's happening at the minute I find this to be a bit of a string thread.

Just so people are aware I joined the trust and paid by PayPal. When set up I never (like many) never checked the box to say don't take the 20 quid annually. So this year 20 quid was taken. As only 10 pound is required for subscriptions the trust technically owed me 10 pounds. If you're really unhappy about this I'll put it out there now that my 10 pound can be used to by the 7 (or nine) junior members a selection box from that what I'm owed.

Maybe as a member you will attend the next meeting when a vote is cast to decide what action on any subject the trust will take?

Just saying like

Oh dear...

I think I've found a real life Sheldon Cooper.

Glad or was tongue in cheek though. Hope no hard feelings

Can I just say I thought it was a very nice idea of Mr Monkeybutt's to send our junior members a Christmas present.

Good job Monkeybutt confessed his sins on here and not Twitter as the Echo may have run the story.
