there are some very tired people tonight. But a wonderful effort and an amazing 30 miles walked today. Both Middlesbrough and Darlington were brilliant with us. We even got free drinks in the Tin shed thanks to the club. A superb experience and hopefully this shall continue tomorrow.

We are going through the collieries and then onto Seaham and from there to Sunderland. After this we are walking along the A184 through Gateshead and onto the Quayside via the Millenium bridge and onto St James from there. It sound easy in a few sentences doesn't it.

Did a quick stride to get to the stadium of light after a restless night to ease their aches and pains.

Plenty of well blistered feet and it wasn't a broken foot it was a ruptured tendon but he is recovering well.

Quinny was on hand to give them a signed shirt to auction and a good chinwag about Pools etc and all were well impressed with the man.

Onto St James it was in the afternoon and got there about 3.30pm which was good going for a tired bunch. clappp

They are in shearers bar at the mo and enjoying a well earned drink but had to pay this time (unlike the freebies given out at the tin shed bar)

It has been a great venture for those who took part (says me sat at home) with TFM giving the some good plugs and helping to raise a pot for Motor Neurone .

We start planning for next year now ( a walk to the new Wembley in the play-offs maybe). clappp

noce to read that Sir Niall was able to take time out to greet the walkers and also donate a shirt that hopefully will raise a few quid.

I very much doubt Fat Freddie Shepherd bothered to meet/greet and donate anything personally?

Don't use this as a chance to start a fucking Newcastle vs Sunderland shitty arguement as no-one gives a fuck

This thing about Niall Quinn and the shirt is not quite right. When we got to the Stadium of Light we had photo's taken and then we had to collect something from the club. This was a limited edition print with Niall Quinn's autograph on it. When we got to Newcastle we were about to go on the pitch to get a picture taken when we saw Scott Parker and we got a picture with him. Glen Roeder was hoping to come and meet us but a large number of children arrived and he had to talk to them as part of the tour. Sorry to dissapoint but there you are.
