Hignett decides that the best way to protect the defence is all out attack. It triggers a goal feast but we end up losing 3-4 after Luton get awarded two dodgy penalties. Billy Paynter comes on as a sub after 83 minutes but is sent off after 30 seconds for calling the referee a fat, cheating bong-eyed twat. Hignett is sent to the stands after impaling the fourth official with a corner flag.

Can't go and as my attendance is central to our continued failure we will in a truly epic display of fast, free-flowing attacking football tear Luton a new one. FACT.

4-0.

3 Luton fans.

Wish Mad Mick Parmo happy birthday from me. Big shame he doesn't post on here any more, he was a voice of irreverent reason in a whirlpool of bullshit at times.

Leyton Orient two men sent off in 14 minutes against Plymouth, they might get a hiding!

Look solid. Two cracking blocks from Toto again. I hope he doesn't miss place a header though or he will be utter shit again.

Decent ref too, shame about lineman on Cyril side like.

Featherstone sent off - grossly unfairly according to my correspondent at the game.

Well a straight red for Featherstone can't be right, he doesn't make hard tackles!!!!

Ps I'm a big fan of Featherstone but red card challenges are not really his game are they

On paper we've drawn with top and 3rd team in last 2 games which sounds good but have been ahead in both games and had 2 dodgy sendings off and 2 late goals against us one of them a very dubious penalty.

Bloody frustrating but when you step back I suppose it's progress and we definitely seem to be much more solid than the start of the season. Hit the post again just before the sending off.

Keen to hear views on the sending off

Need to see it again on telly but looked soft and the Luton player made the most of it. Toto outstanding!

Every player was outstanding in terms of organisation and determination. We're looking solid defensively, although we're not looking as likely to score because of it.

Get a couple of wins and we'll fly up the league.

Looked very soft to me, won the ball and there wasn't any malicious intent from Featherstone at all. Referee did not need to send him off at all. The referees in recent matches have been nothing short of embarassing, so frustrated by them.

Toto was outstanding. There's definitely a player in there, just need to persevere, if he was the finished article he wouldn't be with us.

Thomas goes without saying was class again. Nearly won it for us at the end too.

Good game but once again poor finishing from almond in particular how ever good team performance and toto was excellent.

What can you say about refs these days they are just so intent on getting cards out asap and spoiling the game

Toto my MoM
Some quality defending from him.
Unlucky not to win.
Years ago two defenders would help the keeper defend free kicks.

As in stand just inside the posts to make the target smaller.

Wont go down.
Wont go up.
A work in progress season.

Defending was heroic at times. At least three blocks from Toto were outstanding. The one where he hooked the ball away from what would have been a tap in defied belief.

Like I said before we've come away highly disappointed to not beat 2 of the top 3 and teams that should be thereabouts at the end of the season as well.

Seems like very good progress for the moment

Thought we were comfortable with 11 men and think we would have seen it out. Toto a complete rock and Donnelly decent alongside him. 3 goals conceded in 4 games is it? Defence definitely look more solid and it helps having some energy in front of them with Hawkins and Laurent in there. Amond ran all day but had time for another touch before he hit post and Thomas hit the rebound wide. Pretty sure they got the free kick 30 seconds later.

Signs of improvement, Featherstone will be a big miss even though he was quiet tonight.

If decisions in the last 3 games had gone our way we could arguably be 6 points better off. (I know it doesn't always work like that, but you see my point).

As said earlier, once we get that elusive home win I think we'll be in for a good season.

Also helps that we have one of the best players in the league in Thomas, he'll drag us up there himself the way he's playing.

Also who was the poster who said Richards has been absolute dogshit for years ? Thought he did okay again tonight and put some balls into the box.

Hawkins was unbelievable at times, lovely player to watch when playing well

Toto was brilliant last night and hopefully that's the player we signed and he has set his standard and can grow in confidence and really impose himself on the opposition.

Those fine margins again not going for us. Podge hits post and if that goes in its game over but.....

Surely our luck will change and we start off on a nice long run of good form and results

Blatant red card. Studs into the hip of the Luton player. Stupid challenge from Featherstone. Doesn't matter that he got the ball.

Donnelly looks such a class act. So composed on the ball, reads the game excellently and knows when to put his foot in. That tackle in the first half when the Luton player was a yard infront of him through on goal was absolutely superb. Would've been sent off too if he hadn't timed it to perfection.

Not sure why there are so many complaints about the ref, I have to agree with Tree. He was probably the best one we have had in years. Don't really remember him getting anything wrong, other than the foul which lead to the goal, looked like he just fell over.

There were 3 or 4 times where he didn't give us a free kick but then went and gave them free kicks for similar challenges. Could be biased like
