I'm going to the England match against Scotland on the 11th of November and I'm coming back next morning but I've missed the cheap train tickets and they about 140 notes !!!

I know a few of you lot use the train regularly so is there any cheaper way of getting the train apart from sitting in the bog all the way

Try Trainline and book singles as above always worked out cheaper for me that way.
You could try 'Split Ticketing' not sure if that would be any cheaper, never tried it.

I reckon you could get it down to about £60 if you split the journey via Donny and York. A pain in the arse mind, grand central £71 return which gets you back at 7.44pm is probably a better option for the sake of a tenner.
