"Hartlepool United to re open interest in relegated Dagenham and Redbridge player of the year Joss Labadie.

Pools are also known to be in discussions with former Blyth Spartan Jarrett Rivers who is out of contract at Blackpool.

The monkey hangers are also rumoured to be in for winger Reuben Noble-Lazarus from Rochdale and striker Dom Poleon."

Think the local papers have mentioned the Labadie interest, the others are new ones? Dom Poleon (cracking name that) is a striker with Oldham.

Out till mid-September but can train? Not a problem - Higgy can sharpen him up and he'll be chomping at the bit when he gets his first start.

I'd expect us to be looking at young players Hignett can develop. We've got experience around the team already in the likes of Bates, Magnay and Paynter.
