Now thats what I call a real prospect! He is a perfect fit in my opinion a manager who can finally get this wagon back on the road and back up that long long hill to the good times once again. Despite our form I never once worried about relegation because this squad is good enough and Ronnie would have done enough to get us over the line. I totally jumped on the " Ronnie band wagon " after he saved us last season and believed he was the man to take us forward but sadly he seems to have lost the plot this season. Higgy will be a top top manager one day and follow the great Cloughie to the very top in my opinion and we are extremely fortunate to have him at Hartlepool. I have never met him but a good friend of mine knows him well and said let him settle before you make judgement and you will have a superb honest hard working forward thinking manager who has fantastic contacts in the game.

I think one of Moore's problems was he didn't have any contacts in the higher divisions because he never managed/played in them.

I wouldn't say I'm the best manager in the football league: but I am in the top one.....; Craig Hignet, 2021 after Hartlepool United truimph in the Championship Playoffs with a dramatic victory over Sunderland AFC To secure Promotion. We were third off bottom of The Football League recalls chirpy scouser Hignett....

When I saw the title I thought oh no, he's decided not to take the job and decided instead decided to come on the bunker making ludicrous predictions when the present cloughie is inevitably sectioned.
