If you mean Kudus Oyenuga then I fully agree - RM has recruited some half-decent players to the club but whatever possessed him to sign up this pair only he can know - and Harry Worley is already showing signs of becoming yet another duck-egg, not man enough for L2. Pools can ill-afford to carry passengers within this small squad, RM has seemingly partly undone his own good work in disposing of the likes of Franks, Compton, Parnaby etc.

Both Franks and Holden score tonight for Ross County in Scottish Cup vs Falkirk

Holden wasn't my cup of tea like and Franks was a frustrating player most of the time but I think he'd have been more effective than either of Addy or Oyenuga.

But Compton and Parnaby leaving undoing Ronnie's good work???? Really??? That is some bad bait

He surely meant poor signings will undo good work getting rid of shite like Franks?

Realistically if you are in League Two dealing solely in free transfers not every signing is going to be a success. Even when we were paying decent wedge Turner signed as many bad players as good!

I think it's a bit early to right off any of the new signings though. Worley missed an entire season he's going to take time to get back to 100% and the nature of his injury normally means a few niggles. He's proven to be good enough to play at this level in the past. That Kagus has barely kicked a ball in the first team so it's again a bit harsh to right him off.

He looked good against what I'm assuming are non league teams. I seem to recall Ronnie saying he didn't have the budget to sign any of the trialists so it's not purely a case of not wanting them.
Good luck to them, nice to see our scouts have a eye for such players and hopefully we'll be in a position to take a gamble on some unknowns in the future.
