Has anyone actually confirmed we will have a new strip this season?

Apparently this seasons strips are reduced in the club shop, is that a clue?

There'll be new sponsors this season so last season's strip will be 'out of date' even if the design doesn't change.

For the chairman to be excited I'm guessing the new owners want to put their own stamp on the new kit.

Besides the new sponsor the logo will be reverted back to The Town's Club and he's also suggested fans will be included in decisions more. Not sure if that will include voting on a new home strip but as long as it could be done in a way that prevents other clubs fans from voting and having us play in a clown outfit that would get a few fans onside. I personally wouldn't wear a football shirt unless I was playing in it so I'm not that arsed but I'm sure I'm in the minority.

Rumour has it it's a two-way battle between Anusol and Ex-Lax for the sponsorship.

Nice isnt it, nike n adidas just churn out the same ones to every club every year. More unique that one.

Very true, they seem to produce the same style but just change the badges. I quite like Puma kits as well.

I like the different shirts, got a bargain yesterday, last seasons spurs kit shirt for only £15. Big fan of retro shirts as well.

By all accounts Russ said in them fan meetings that kit design is usually decided in December so never sure why not on sale earlier.

home strip more than likely a variation on usual blue and white stripes, but a decent away kit would be useful. the pink and black thing was just wrong, please, something decent?

struggling to remember an away kit that was worth having? the nipper's had most of them (red, black, yellow, orange etc) be good to have a decent regular 'traditional' away. did we do black and red stripes way back when, or did i imagine that?

Surely the away kit will be the luminous yellow one that they wore for the last game of last season at Carlisle sctatchinghead

You're not imagining the black and red stripes though

My favourite away strip is the yellow 'Brazil' one. Saw some amazing performances in that top during that promotion season.

The black and red stripes was canny too.

Yep, the Brazil style away strip had a bit of class about it, it maybe had a physcological benefit also, hence some Brazil like performances.

I liked the grey one with the thin blue lines. Still got it kicking about somewhere. Also liked the black one.

Has anyone else found that the sponsor logo has started falling off the recent tops? Its not like i wash them on a hot heat or anything. Not sure if they have started using B&Ms cheap glue to save pennies. I would not mind as the sponsor logo has always been terrible but I'm now left with a big glue patch in the middle. A slight improvement over the sponsor logo but still not nice to look at.

I didnt mind the green strongarm kit. Seem to remember that was the year we changed badge and the new one was simply stitched over the old one.

Cant find any on google unless it been rightly wiped from living history?

Seem to remember they shirt was as wide as it was tall with baggy sleeves?

That was horrendous that one. The worst strip in the last 30 years. As someone above said the light grey one with the thin dark blue stripes was a belter. I had that one until quite recently. Very smart

I seem to remember one of the strips used to be in numerous sports shops in town. Possibly the away yellow Yuill strip??

The worst strip must surely have been the Tesco bag one.
But the one after that, the pinstriped one, I thought was as chic as fuck.
