Apologies if I have missed this but has Ronnie washed his hands of him? against York I thought his crosses might have helped us?

Might have if he felt like it... far too unpredictable and not worth the gamble.

He tweeted something yesterday about coming back up for training to get ready for Saturday. Sounds like he might fancy his chances of getting back into the team. He’s not been involved with him not fitting into the 3 at the back system but with the first half display against Accrington the other day I suspect we’ll play with 4 at the back on Saturday, especially with us being at home in a must win game

He did play at wing back for the reserves the other week, I thought he did well, although against poor opposition. Definitely a bigger threat going forward than Austin but obviously its an even bigger gamble playing him at LWB without a full back behind him

i'd agree with john, if we had 10 games left then yeah no point, but for 1 game, use him.

He's going in the summer, we know it, he knows it, so leave on a good note, if he scored the goals that kept us up it would probably be the only thing he was remembered for.

I think I will remember him for the distain he has shown the professional game, the fans and the club.

And I will remember him for the game at Exeter a couple of seasons ago where he was excellent.

He was sublime that game. I'm superstitious enough to at least have him on the bench on Saturday, particularly if we go 4-4-2. There will be a few in the Exeter team who won't fancy playing him again.

Would we really want to risk putting him on considering how hit and miss he is?

As opposed to the consistency the rest of the team show?

We have an awful squad, yes Compton appears to be a loose cannon and is his heart really in it? Probably not, but he does posses ability that probably none of the other players do. He's worth a shot in our position.

I can see where your coming from and if he scores us the winner I will be gladly proven wrong. I just don't see him putting any effort in when ronnie obviously isn't planning to keep him.

I really have no time for the bloke but I agree with the above.

In just over a week he'll be free to move back to his beloved Wales, so chances are he might not actually be sulking at the moment. Plus he may only have one more chance to show Barry town or port Talbot why he's worth a contract.

I'm having a guess that some of the so called "pricks" in your opinion will be playing/involved with the team on Saturday. So what we meant to do leave them all out.

I think the most important thing is that Scott Fenwick plays as a proper centre forward not on the wing not in midfield or in defence or in goal as centre bloody forward. The only goal scorer we have playing him where they did on Saturday is asking to be relegated.

Look at who Ronnie leaves out and one or two in starting 11 . If we stay up see who he gets rid of, that's always assuming he is still here

Sometimes I have been nervous of mirfin but after being at Luton and watching the defence crumble he is the kingpin we can't do without

Moore will make his decision(s). Fact is that some of those prick(s) (your words) have also got us out of bottom 2. I agree that they got us in the mess but why just single out Compton. As others have said he can actually change a game and although has had quite few bad ones he's also had some decent / good ones. He's part of a squad and for that reason he could help get a win on Saturday. What happens after 5pm on May 4th is a different conversation.

Fenwick Compton walker are all capable of changing matches considering how dull and predictable we have been the last few games then fresh ideas and players may be needed.

Id start all three of the above and if Moore does id be very confident of us winning on Saturday. We need players who can produce something special and both Compton and Walker have that extra bit of quality and are capable of creating or scoring a goal. This is a must win game so get them in the team Ronnie.

I'd definitely have him on the bench

No matter how much of an annoying little piss flap who we can wave good riddance to in two games he is I reckon I'd have at least have brought him on as sub at some point in the of every one of the last four games.

Agreed, he'd have had a field day at York. The amount of times the ball got played wide to Austin or Duckworth who couldn't beat their man and get a ball in was ridiculous. Even in a hit or miss game he gets crosses into the box and that is what we were crying out for at York.

I honestly believe if he had been involved in the second half we would have gotten the win.

A tosser he is, but talent he has.

That was last season when he was playing week in week out. He still only trains one day a week and I think it showed, particularly when he first came in, At Bury away he was at fault for the decisive goal, at home to Stevenage he was abysmal at parts in that game. Saturday showed we are far better with him in the side but I don't think he's the best thing since sliced bread as some do but he has improved since he came in. At the start and even now at times he does have the odd slow moment to react and although he may recover it still makes me a bit nervous.

Whatever people think Compton can do on the pitch in his once in a blue moon game when he fancies playing I think is irrelevant. He is a bad influence on other players, many of whom don't like him and it puts the side on a downer before we've even kicked off. Notably he is good mates with Morgan who is also no where to be seen as from what he said on twitter was in London last week. Both of them aren't being kept away because of performance on the pitch but there poor attitude and negative influence off it.

I'd have Compton on the bench for definite, if anything it's another option for the left side if Duckworth is as bad as he has been recently.
