Any else sick of the Mobile pools site on iPhone not letting you close the adverts down to read the actual stories they are putting on!!!

Yes!

Fair enough if I wasnt paying for Poolsworld but I am and therefore shouldnt have to put up with 45 second adverts that cant be skipped.

Also most of the time the "play" button for Poolsworld commentry doesnt show up on the app no matter how many times you shut it down and reopen etc

Get a video advert every time, which you cant skip. It's a great service other than that. I suppose its all about adverts paying for the site..

Hi Tree,
Problem I have with the mobile app is trying to find the current live game. Have to go through the fixtures link at bottom of page and select current live match from there and then I can only get the commentary after the match has kicked off. Its a pain but at least I get to hear poolsworld commentary when I'm working at weekends.

Just had a thought on this....is everybody using the NEW Football League app (ie the FLi Player)??

I wasnt (until two mins ago...) I was using the old FL App which was still working.

You need to search for "FLi Player" in App Store.

SHOULD be problem solved?

Just close the ad by pressing the x button at the top. What's the problem?

You can't. You have to watch it all on a phone. Even forcing the app to shut doesn't help.

My phone lets me just press on the x and it closes straight away.
