Let is Ken Hodcroft some credit and sensible advice.

Firstly, he offered THM the club debt free saw they did not have Potential Share agreement in place presumably because of inability to raise funds to pulled the deal.THM seemed like a disaster waiting to happen based on Swindon's experience.

Secondly, in terms of sensible advice the potential backers I recommend he asks are:
1. Cameron Hall, son of Sir John Hall,
2. Local giant SAMSUNG

surely those are the 2 biggest local players

Good idea...name people who could potentially buy the club. Sheik Mansoor?

As for Samsung being a local giant I believe they are actually a Korean company. Depends on what local means to you I suppose!

foreign investors is the way forward for most clubs. Any GB business has most of their money sheltered outside the UK.

Give me a better idea than Cameron Hall or Samsung?

Fans trust.

Forget investors, look at all of Darlo's owners from George Reynolds onwards.

Oh and Douglas Hall is John Hall's son. Cameron Hall is the name of the family's development company.

Great post though.

Ive said it from day one NIRAMAX could be the people to take over they are a massive concern now and are town people. One of the owners motor was parked up at Pools car park last Saturday so looks like they could be fans.

Dean Construction owner a big Pools fan not sure how big a company they are though

They ain't a local giant though like Samsung. We need to keep it in the area. Maybe Kellogg's. They defo sell them in the asda. We could have a crunchie nut cornflake home strip, a rice krispies away strip and a set of coco pops training tops. Hangus can become Tony the Tiger. It really could be gggreat

How many of those companies are privately owned and make a profit though? Nissan for example is a manufacturing cost centre in their European and global operations.

I still like the Greggs idea, although if the club dietician was one of the bakers we may have an even less fit team than today's lot!!!

Moss Bros would be great suitors and they have a shop at Dalton park too (which is as local as it gets, discounting the Far east anyway).
