I'm just pissed off that we missed out on Torres and Ben Arfa. I reckon they both could do a job in League Two.

Tubbs has 12 goals in 22 for Wimbledon and had a good game against Liverpool last night. It would indeed be nice but there's no chance he's coming either is there?

But don't worry at least we know it was all because Paul Murray was a big mistake as Jeff Stelling pointed out after the takeover and assurances from Russ. How strange then that a number of his transfer targets become Ronnie Moore's targets that we still don't end up getting as they wont come here.

But at least Moore tells the papers that he has cancelled training and is bollocking the players rather than just doing it behind closed doors.

I really hope this all comes good but from what I know Collins becoming assistant manager and Russ Green staying on when this takeover happened were big warning signs. Again at the time I rationalised that the owners were looking for continuity while they got their feet under the table. I become more uneasy, it's ok saying January window is already open but every game or week that goes by is a nail in the coffin.

Time is going to tell of course but its interesting that some have changed their focus for the blame based on the changed situation even though all the demographics are exactly the same.

what made me laugh was that a fans owned club, who dont own their own ground could be seriously trying to sign that sort of player, and Pools, who aren't fans owned, have pulled in over a million selling our best players, and have allegedly got funds to invest from our magnificent new owners, are signing strikers from the Northern League.

Can't work it out myself, but best not be too negative or Russ will set his dogs on me.

What Northern League striker have we signed since we've had these "magnificent new owners"? I know everyone likes to knock the new regime but the only striker we've signed since the takeover to my knowledge is Rakish Bingham.
I said before I'm waiting until the transfer window closes to make judgement. Players understandably will hold out for the best deal for themselves whether that's financial, geographical or based on league position so I can only imagine how difficult it will be for Ronnie to get players in. More players will become more desperate for a move the longer the transfer windows drags on so hopefully we'll see more movement in the coming weeks.
Everyone's entitled to their own opinions but give the owners/Ronnie a fair crack to get the right players in, relegation looks more likely than not to us so imagine how difficult it must be to convince potential permanent signings to come.

What gets me is we still have the same people on the turnstiles! How are we to move the club on with the same regime manning the turnstiles week in week out. And don't get me started on the half time lottery ticket sellers!
