Harrison would be a great signing especially if it is permanent. I just hope Moore acts quickly as possible which I am sure he will.

2 CB's, a striker and left back are the top priorities for me. Depends who he moves on really. I did however think Jones had a good game yesterday so could get a chance at CB.

I'd count guevera out on account of his chronic asthma and his being dead.
however that still gives him a chance in our back four

Gorkks was a rock in the qpr team that went up from the championship. They hardly conceded a goal and he was the main centre back. Wasnt that long ago

Top of my list would be luke Williams closely followed by Luke James.

Defensively I would like a full back who can take free kicks, something we have been lacking for years. Can't remember any outfield player scoring say 3 free kicks in 1 season since maybe Hugh Robertson. Not even sure if he did to be honest

Full back who can take free kicks?

That's a strange request

Loads take them. Obviously its a bonus but full backs are generally decent at dead balls except when they play for us! Ours can't take corners never mind free kicks

A winger who can take them would do aswell like

His brother Jamie is also a decent player. Known them both for nearly 20 years. If this is true im very suprised i Havnt been told

Luke James are you having a laugh. based on his form with Peterborough and his previous last form with us, No thank you. We need a goal scorer.

No thanks regarding James.

Williams would be great but imagine he and Boro would rather he stick in League 1.

I'd have him too, based on his 14 goals last season to keep us in the league.

Form is temporary, I wouldn't use it against him at the mo, he's still 19.

Bob is still in IORs pocket, justifying selling a good striker for pennies, ignore him.

If we can only sign players in form we won't get many

Maybe. I can agree with trying to get Williams but Im not so bothered about Luke.

Im not sure if Luke is Ronnie Moores sort of player. I can see us getting some big lads in.

Having said all this, I thought Ironside gave a good account of himself on Saturday. Very similar player to Wyke.

Going back to the summer if i'd have known we wouldnt replace walton and monkhouse i deffo would have given them another year.

Monkhouse was always good for 6-8 goals from midfield, and a narky sod that wound the opposition up.

Just shows how opinions differ. Featherstone would be one of the first names on my team sheet. Very rarely gives the ball away and "can handle a football". Do I sound like CC?

Simon Walton no thank you shocking when I saw him in FA Cup replay down here in Maidstone as mobile as me and unable to give it short we need box to box runners Miller can sit or Featherstone sitting in some ways we may need 2 sitting midfielders away from home and get is hammered into the corners for Franks and one other to chase!

I thought Woods got a lot more involved in the game than Featherstone on Saturday.
The big ginger bearded bloke for them certainly knew Woods was about.

Is there anyone left to sign that won't upset someone into not going?

He probably realised he had to do the tackling of two men when he saw Featherstone was starting.

The main issue will be down to who is willing to come.

Ronnie has said what he wants Centre back, midfielder and striker openly and also stated how difficult it will be to get ones with experience - all things Paul Murray said. Hopefully unlike Murray who had deals scuppered by the board Ronnie will be fully supported, but if he's not then he like Murray before will have to gamble on young loans or those out of contract like Featherstone and Sidney.

Having seen Saturdays line up I am very concerned about centre half as despite the draw on Saturday bates and jones fills me with no confidence and the only time Oxford got a ball of any note into the box we conceded.

Fucking unbelievable that more people are saying they'd rather have Walton back than Luke James!? Not that either is going to happen but still!!

I'm not sure what some people actually watch when the game is on at the Vic, maybe some fans do have pickled onions for eyes!!

I would take Jack barmby back he isn't getting a shout at Leicester. Also I know he is old but Rory Fallon from Dagenham he is a proven goal scorer scores goals at every level and club he been at his experience we could use.I would compare if we got him to like when we got rabbi

Jack Barmby is a good shout but would have thought Leicester would want him to play at a higher level. Not sure about Rory Fallon, a Dagenham cast off, has it really come to that.

Also, it's a bit worrying if there isn't some decent money to try to avoid relegation. A gamble yes, but then why else would the new owners want to come in. I am sure Ronnie knows who could possibly get us out of this mess but will the money be available?

It will be obvious if the take over was a sham if there is no money for any new players in January. At the very least Pools should be pitching at new targets with a view to winning promotion from the conference next season

Rory Fallon is currently at Scunthorpe, he has scored 3 goals in 4 games. He's never been at Dagenham, he was at Crawley earlier this year though
