Look I don't know the new guys nor do you. Let's just say we have more hope tonight than last night. Spoke to them v briefly and they seem decent but hey how do you or I know. Russ worked hard getting the deal together. I know and trust him. Let's go to sleep with a bit of hope and belief. If I am wrong, sorry. But IOR said they would not put one penny into the club this year or next so we would be Conference north or out of business. We have rolled the dice and gambled. I hope it's the right move but what options were there ? Let's get behind them on Sat . Let's be honest, they are our last hope. And Ronnie Moore is a top man .

nobody disagrees with you on that Jeff. Well maybe I do about part of it.

But generally we all want the same thing.

But we are not daft. And we know what goes on.

Agree with the last bit Jeff, just worried about every other part. We spent years needing clarity from IOR and no less than 9 hours after we're bought out, we need more clarity than ever.

Good luck Ron, do us a job mate

Never Say Die.

Christ we are entitled to be cynical after the last couple of years. Let's hope for the best. Honestly guys I know and trust Russ. If I am wrong I am there to be shot at but sometimes, in our position, you have to have a little trust. Everything crossed. With A big crowd, a load of support and Matty Dolan I think we will do Oxford and then we could be off and running. Remember Flash Watsons Friday night hat trick and what happened afterwards. Let's dream .

Saturday and boxing day could be the turning point of our season. Come the end of January everything could be rosie, or we could be in even more suitable. Let's just take it one game at a time and pray things will get better on the pitch

Ultimately the elephant in the room has left the room. The new owners need to be given the benefit of the doubt and given the opportunity to crack on, invest and try to save this club. With a disjointed team but a new seasoned gaffer who knows. As for all of the post-euphoria digging into the new people's past then give them a chance again. I would wager plenty of people on here, have a past that has never been so thoroughly and ardently investigated. If they have been done Al, would they be were they are now? IOR have gone. Russ stays. He helped broker this deal and was allegedly active at this for a couple of years at least. He may have made some reported errors with managers/players appointments and releases but you never know how much his hand was guided by Hod. However from a commercial viewpoint he attracts and retains a lot of sponsorship. Supporter wise, despite his love of all
things Ardwick, he I is up for it always, and as those that have done a bit of digging into the accounts and have stated on here, miscellaneous admin debits aside, club ran on a fairly even keel. I know how draconian KH was meant to be with the well reported requisition forms for paper clips etc, and palaver over recent non signings of strikers from several clubs, but he seems to have managed costs and paid regular bills well. I likened him to a certain Austrian Corporal earlier, a good administrator and organiser but allegedly extremely deficient in people skills and somewhat dictator like.
