I saw something in the Mail about them the other day and it took me back 25 years :roll:

I never had or used one as i was only about 6 or 7 at the time,but all the older lads round our end had one and used to go on about them all the time...like...'2-5 for a copy' or 'whats your handle' and 'eyeball' :? :laugh:

Were they the pre-historic mobile phone? and whatever happened to them?

My brother was well into these, I remember coming on leave one day to be met by a 100 foot arial sticking up the side of the house. He'd put it up when my mam was out shopping and you can imagine her face when she walked back to something looking like GCHQ.

The Dodger he called himself if memory serves. 2-5 for a copy and all that....... GET A PHONE!!!
