He did I read it around my Dads earlier.

It's all the councils fault for not selling them the ground and the fact they are going to put the rent up. It's also the fault of local businesses as the revenue is well down from sponsorship as well. He is working on the income situation though, results aren't at all acceptable and we desperately need a striker. He fully supports any protest as people are entitled to an opinion but he reckons the protest should be against the council!

To be fair it was probably his most substantial programme contribution for years in terms of what he said.

I'm on the councils side, keep the ground owned by us.

A very under used insult is 'berk'

Mind it's a good job the council isn't full of them.... oh hang on.

It's all just an excuse from Hodcroft the bottom line is the council couldn't give a fuck about Pools, if IOR had bid the asking price they'd own the ground and would have done for years. Anyone making them out as the good guys is as wrong as Hodcroft is still pedaling this tripe.

I actually don't think Iv ever written the word before and no idea if Iv spelt it correct. I believe the character in Trapdoor was called Berk though and that's how it was spelt!

My company had been part of a sponsorship with HUFC over the last 2years, and while I won't state who or what we do, I had first hand insight behind the scenes on a weekly basis. The way we were treat was appalling especially in our last year, every complaint fell on deaf ears. So for Hodcroft stating local businesses are also at fault is comical. This pleb needs to open his eyes.

The income situation that he is also talking about, is hotair. He's very rarely at the club so how could he possibly contribute? I mean, we don't even have a Commercial Manager/Director who goes out to us local businesses and touts for sponsors. Have we really got someone within the club who can do this. When Russ took over from John Breward, everything was in place, i.e good relationships built with the community.

Mr Hodcroft, while you sit and spout utter shite in you're programme notes, the good people of Hartlepool are seeing right through you

If I worked for the Mail I would be embarrassed to print that 'interview'

Hodcroft has utter contempt for the supporters of this club.

So Ken thinks those singing "Cooper out" may have made him resign.

Can those sing "Hodcroft out" too and see if that has the same effect?

He probably be in the box anyway and wont hear it like.

"He did add though that work was going on to bring in new players but stressed the club also needed to increase its external income" We have been trying to bring in players every week for the past 6 months. Somebody correct me or tell me it's not possible if i'm wrong but he mentioned yet again that the James/Baldwin money is in installments which we get, but whats stopping IOR giving the club the money to spend then reclaiming the money when the installments come in? Bollocks to FFP there are ways round it, sponsor an advertising board or whatever.

Precisely, nothing stopping the owners from putting the transfer fee into the club as an interest free loan and then taking it back as the installments are paid, not actually costing them anything and increasing our FFP threshold.

Astonishingly some are still buying this tripe.

“But we don’t have plans because Colin has resigned.

“We weren’t ready for it as a club."

Proper Planning and Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance.

I like the way he says that we werent prepared as we didnt sack him. As if the club would have a contingency plan lined up had they been looking to sack him.

You just had to look at Collin Copper to see how fed up he was with everything. It should not have been that much of a surprise to Hodcroft.

8 wins the 2014 and Hodcroft is surprised he resigned? Haway Ken, surely you're not that daft. Even if you sacked him you wouldn't have had plans.
