It's obvious Cooper wants him, but is there a cut off date when we tell him to either sign or fuck off ?
The season is only a week away, seems like pools would be a last option for him money wise (which is fair enough he needs to look out for himself) but we don't want to be waiting and waiting on him to the extent we miss out on other targets....

Yep, and the worst case scenario is we leave him waiting so long he gets fixed up somewhere else and Greening says no anyway

It seems like he has already made his mind up and trying to get the deal he feels he deserves at Blackpool. As the Fireball says leaving the way clear for Tommy Miller to sign presumably.

Cooper admitted Greening is close to signing for Blackpool and they've offered him a contract which Pools can't match - he was also a trialist for their pre-season game yesterday. He's not Championship level if the Middlesbrough performance is anything to go by. Yes he looked okay but he was so negative with his play, no forward passes. Tommy Miller had a better game against Sunderland, in my opinion.

I heard they have 13 players now and had 9 trialists play in yesterday, was assuming one was Greening

would sign miller for the simple fact we want players who want to be here. would miller be a better signing than greening as he wants to be here and greening is after something better.?
