So breaking the rules that are meant to stop rich people spending a fortune is punished by fining them. In other words the FA need some more money so instead of doing it properly they're just going to tax the oil rich teams and let them buy the league in return.

Isn't it UEFA who's doing the fining here? Should be kicked out of the "champions league " for me

whereas Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barcelona arent breaking the same rules?

Of course they are.

Man City are not classed as the elite clubs just yet. So they can be made an example of. As will PSG.

Real Madrid are fucking billions in debt.

FFP is stupid.

Man City are poibably the richest club in the world with their owners.

No, they have massive stadiums that they fill nearly every time they play at home and are enormous commercially all over the World so subsequently have huge turnovers and comply easier than clubs like City and PSG.

They are restricted to a 21 man squad in next years Champions League, which they will be more miffed with than the fine I reckon.

Ultimately it will end up in court and City will win. Restrictions of trade and all that. I can't see one of the Worlds richest men losing in court.

It has always amazed me how the likes of the FA get away with fining managers for speaking out. That has no chance in hell of standing up in court and its about time someone challenged it.

Mutley it a UEFA. So points could only be deducted from Champions League group stage. How can restriction of trade apply. No one has been restricted. I can't see them appealing either. It was possible for them to be thrown out for breaking rules. Just my opinion.

I always wonder why they bother with post match interviews.

The media know managers won't often speak their minds & managers know if they do the FA Christmas party fund goes up.

I'd either refuse to give interviews or would refuse to pay fines and be an utter bell end.
