What Is It Like For Visiting Supporters?
Away fans are housed in the 'temporary' South Stand at one end of the ground, where around 1,000 fans can be located. This area is open to the elements so hope that it doesn't rain. If demand requires it then part of the covered East Terrace can also be given to away supporters, where another 500 can be housed. Normally a relaxing and enjoyable day out, although when you view the slope of the pitch, you almost think that it must be an optical illusion, as it is at quite an angle. As a matter of interest you may hear he home fans singing that Beatles classic 'Twist & Shout' from time to time!

If it has been raining then you have the amusing sight of a steward whose duty is to issue sheets from a huge toilet roll to away fans to allow them to dry the seats in the open South Stand'.

I don't think away fans get the porta stand anymore tht's for home fans now. I think we get part of the side terracing (next to the fearsome "Barnet casuals"!) which holds about a thousand.

Pools fans looking to make the trip down to Barnet for next Saturday's (07/04/07 - kick off 3pm) big League Two game should note that tickets will only be on sale at the turnstiles.

Travelling supporters will be seated in the East Terrace (where possible) which is covered terracing and ticket prices are as follows:

Adults - £15

Concessions (Over 18s/Under 60s) - £11*

Students Over 18 - £11**

Under 12s - £5***

* To gain a concession ticket, fans must provide proof of age and produce this at the Ticket Office on Westcombe Drive where they will collect a £4 discount voucher before queuing at the turnstiles.

** Students over 18 may also pick up a £4 discount voucher from the Ticket Office. A valid student ID must be produced.

*** Under 12s must also collect a voucher from the Ticket Office in order to gain entry for £5.

The away end has been moved for this season - the home fans have the uncovered temporary seating in the South Stand behind the goal. the away section is now in the East Stand but at the other end to where it used to be, I think that end of the stand also has a bad view.

However for the Swindon game due to the numbers the moved the Barnet fans out of the terrace behind the goal and they had both the side terrace and the end.

According to the Barnet site the total capacity of both sections is 1,500 - there was 1431 Swindon fans there
