About his level.

I still can't believe Burnley signed him.

Not on loan, proper deal. Burnley only give him a 6 month contract

Didn't he score a cracking goal @ Bury last season ?
But didn't do much else for us.

I wasn't convinced by him. Too selfish. There were lots of times he tried to score from difficult positions and tight angles instead of looking up to pick a pass.

I rated the lad and would welcome him back. He wasnt as good 2nd time round but was paired with Howard and was in a team that played long hoofball and created next to nothing. His workrate was still good despite the huge lack of service.

Interesting how he's still perceived on here as being an arrogant twat yet alot of the pools players were wishing him well yesterday proving he was quite popular when here.

Wish him all the best

I'm a bit confused by the arrogant thing, there's only one player we've had over the past couple of years that accusation could be levelled at.

I dont know if nobles arrogent but there's summit up when a player goes from sunderland to burnley then to gateshead in the space of around 6-7 months.

To be fair to him if you're a young lad on top level footballer wages who has spent years being told you're great then you'll probably have a bit of a chip on your shoulder.

He seemed to have a swagger but I wouldn't have thought his arrogance was a bad thing as he did seem to be a team player, its not like a football club signs players for golf and social with the fans is it?

I think there is something there and it only needs bringing out. Maybe a spell under CC/CH might revive his career. I wouldn't be against him spending six months with us on a pay per play basis. I would imagine he is desperate to kick start his career, along with a lot more it has to be said.

He's signed for Gateshead.

I'm not so sure he had this terrible arrogant attitude people are on about, he did rate himself highly but is that a bad thing in a professional sportsman? It's often frowned upon in this country but a bit of swagger doesn't do any harm. I think a couple of our younger players could do with a bit.

I think the bottom line was he in reality wasn't any better than we already had.

Disappointing I thought, worked hard though and good come back a better player for dropping into the Conference, then maybe not,may after a year end up in the NL.

Remember reading about him when at pools, practicing headers on a parks pitch with his dad, scored a cracking header for pools in next game. He hardly sounds arrogant. His pen miss against Bradford in JPT still keeps me awake at night though

Another who has probably just found his level, like Ryan Donaldson, scored a few goals for Gateshead, didn't have his contract renewed so moved to Conference Cambridge.

The nandos generation of footballers, famous before a balls been kicked cos of a few keepy ups on football am with luscombe n henderson, crazy too see they all come through the same youth team, hendo's probs off to a world cup cos he puts the graft in, luscombe n noble have talent but would rather sit in the bookies or in nandos all afternoon giving it the bigun.

Some people want to be footballers, some people just want to be famous.
