I'd be surprised if The Mail didn't suffer any repercussions about the story that appeared online and probably in the paper today. Fairly graphic details of what happened, pretty insensitive at best but surely not right as well with ongoing police investigation to print such details??

It's since gone from the website, I imagine his family for one were pretty upset and maybe that's why it's gone or maybe even the Police have asked them to get rid. Either way a pretty serious error of judgement.

in these day of "instant" media this sort of thing will always happen especially in a small town like Hartlepool. The story was in the public domain almost instantly. The Mail fishing for every angle doesn't really help though.

If the mail hadn't reported it they'd probably get pelters for other sites reporting it n not them.

I don't think anyone needed to read about his injuries or how far blood was splattered up a wall to be honest especially his friends and family.

Sensationalism sells newspapers but there is no need to try and glean every little fact .. Some poor soul has been murdered ..The details should come out in court not in the local chip wrapper .. The poor lad deserved at least that bit of respect.

The British press are vicious.They scream 'EXCLUSIVE' at every opportunity. The phone hacking scandal is just the British press as the sickest exhibition of inhumanity through proxy.
