He was also quoted as saying Neil Warnock was on a shortlist. Warnock who is a blade and who once said if he became Wednesday manager he would buy so many bad players it would ruin them forever, and he would then retire to Cornwall and spend the rest of his life laughing about it. Can't see his appointment going down well if he gets it.
