I was wondering what other people thought of our current squads muscle mass compared to a lot of other teams in the league. I'm looking at lads like Jack Baldwin & Luke James who could probably really benefit from putting a bit of muscle on. We see a lot of teams come to the Vic who 90% of the team look like big strong athletes. We seem to have a mix of the broad but slow & immobile (Walton & Howard) and the young lads who are sometimes bullied off the ball. I know there is a fine margin between the weight a player should carry and examples like Ricardo Fuller and Akinfenwa are examples of putting far to much weight on to try and benefit their game. I'm not saying we should turn into the Stevenage bouncers I just think it would help slightly bring some of the younger players on.
