Both the penalty’s they got were given for challengers outside the box in my opinion.

The second one was unbelievable, the linesman gave a penalty straight away, the referee who was actually in line with the incident didn’t ,but still allowed himself to be overruled rage I actually think Clarky might of got a bit of the ball too.

Thank fook Dimi saved it.

No penalty IMO. Tes was miles outside the box, I said to my mate "He's got his flag across his chest" and he thought I was winding him up!

I think both managers would have took a draw at the beginning of the day, just not a 3-3 ;)

I also left the ground disappointed. We hadn't conceded at home since December 9th, so at 3-0 I was thinking three points surely?!

But thats Football. It throws up surprises and shocks, and yesterday was a great game.

I've just wrote a piece for our the new issue of the Fanzine coming out next week linking back to the penalties thing.....

"The recent game against Hartlepool would have been a classic example. 3-3. Great drama. Great theatre. Great entertainment. Missed penalties, loads of goals, hardly two passes strung together, hardly a shot in anger apart from the goals. The County fans were happy with a point, the Hartlepool fans were happy with a point, I even think that Jim Gannon and Danny Wilson would have both settled for a point at the beginning of the day – yet an American would be sat there scratching there arse wondering why everyone is happy with a draw! "

Having watched the Championship this morning it looks to me like the first penalty was given against Nelson who seemed to trip their forward up just before Clark slid in to a different forward outside the box.

Fair enough!

I watched the Championship this morning, but didn’t notice Nelson’s trip, probably concentrating on the Clarky challenge too much, I’ll watch it again on Tyne Tees later.

Definitely, Fens.

The two challenges are in quick succession but I watched it in slow-mo and the referee reacts to the Nelson challenge before Clark slid in. The penalty was for Nelson's challenge on Dickenson and it was a correct decision.

I also watched in slow-mo still pretty dubious there guy jumped far to quick for limited amount of contact but under the letter of the law yes a pen. There second was not first he was 6" to a foot outside the box secondly if you watch it again in slow-mo watch Clarkes right foot it didn't make contact with Bramble at all before he went over not a pen just aswell Dimi saved it with a little help from Mr Wilson
