I got in from a 2-1 defeat at home to Grimsby in the football league cup to find out Elvis had died, christ that makes me feel old. Paul Bielby got our goal

So that makes it 35 years ago tomorrow that myself and several other like-minded young worky-tickets got thrown out of English Martyrs Youthy disco for doing the "Dead Fly" when they put on "Way Down" for the Ted Dancers. Happy Days.

I've since found out that there are some good Elvis Presley tunes, you've just got to look for them, and most are from 1956 or 57!

Everything after the 1968 comeback special is complete dross. The rest (if you exclude the ballads) ranges from pleasant to brilliant.
Dead easy, eh?
