Obviously the pre season is a bit boring-none of the north east clubs including ourselves are pulling up trees in the signing department.

Mind you according to them several weeks ago Tommy Miller and Steve Howard were done deals!!

Well as from today there'll be an awful lot of players available, so the last month or so of not signing anyone hasn't worried me. Cooper has said he either wants to watch what's on offer or know about them. The pre season tour of Holland starts in about a fortnight, I think 1st game is somewhere around the 15th, so if we take a few trialists out there Cooper can see them and decide.

We always get told not to worry n nog many teams sign players in June n all that... Yet everyday I read of other league one teams signing players throughout June, Swindon as many as 8.

Every summer we always seem to take ages to sign players n I can't help think we miss out on players.

Pre season training will no doubt start tomorrow and we have 1 new lad in there.

I'm sure we'll sign a few this month like.

When we signed Franks i thought great we are getting in there before other clubs but then sadly no further progress.
I do hope we dont miss out on the better players cos it has been blatently obvious for a long time where we are lacking.
