To raise money for the youth team........ Sponsor a goal/ penalty/assist/clean sheet etc............
Its a simple idea people agree to pledge a sum of money in one or more of the following categories:

For each goal scored by their chosen player
For each goal scored by the team or
For each clean sheet
For penalties scored or saved
For yellow/ red cards

In fact anything as long as it can be easily identified. (found on Official site maybe)
The amounts due could be collected in 2 stages, once at or around Christmas and final balance at the end of the season. Once money in the kitty someone can liaise with someone from the youth side and arrange to get it to him in one way or another.
Maybe we can get a shirt to have draw between all those who take part. Maybe draw it at player of the year award/ last game of the season.

Updates could be posted monthly(ish) on here. Maybe Dave/Nobby in the Mill can collect it there if figures given and also ran from there for ease. I did speak to Dave previously and he had no objection. Maybe updates in some of the matchday programmes throughout the season. If the club will do it.

If people agree(doesn't matter how few then if they put there player/ amount and for what on this thread I'll try to keep it up to date, so people know what they owe and if it takes off could some nice administrator/ moderator make it a sticky. If it doesn't take off all I've done is waste a few minutes typing this out.
