A few points.

Rotherham is a shithole. OK It had a decent music scene a few years ago, give it that.

'Next to the River Don.' You can walk across the River Don without the need for a bridge. Nice up the valley towards Stocksbridge but a filthy creek in the metropolis and only made worse by the effluent from Meadowhall.

New York Stadium will go down a bundle with the large Muslim population of Rotherham.

My ex-employers are now based in Rotherham, I find that extremely funny. :-D

I wish people wouldnt post things like this as it will give our deluded friends down the A66 ridiculous ideas that this is the sort of stadium that they will be building back in Darlo in the next few years.

A good example of how to build a new stadium. Closer to the center of town than old ground, closer to train station, brownfield site, interesting design which probably lets natural light to pitch, realistic and managable capacity, name linked to locality.
