I don't see how or why avb was sacked. They are a club in transition and I don't see how anyone can do any different with them.

He was painfully out of his depth and had completely lost the dressing room. He has only kept his job this long because sacking him was going to be an admission from Abramovich that he has got things completely wrong.

I'm not sure how they are a club in transition either, a few of the senior players are in their 30's that's all, it doesn't seem to bother Manchester United. They've still spent fortunes in the last 18 months.

The problem is to someone like Ambramovich Chelsea is his toy and he's meddled far too much. Don't forget he sacked Mourinho, then Ancelotti a year after winning the double. He's then paid £18,000,000 to get this bloke thinking he was his 'new Mourinho' that was clearly not going to be case very quickly. He was short and arrogant with the media the fans couldn't relate to him talking in riddles, an expensive disaster.

He basically came from a league not much better than the Scotttish Premiership, out of his depth from the start and his team selections recently beggered belief. (Napoli etc) plus it doesnt seem like any of the players can be arsed to play for him and most are trying to leave.
