Absolutely turd.

Why Nish and Boyd were restored to the front is beyond me. I'd put the pair of them in the reserves and neither should be considered again till both have scored some goals and look as if they have a clue what the other one is doing.

Defence appalling, hardly any attacks of note, aside from a few dashing bursts from Poole and Brown, and to top it all off Sheff Utd let me town for 70 sheets the useless not nice people!

The sooner I forget this game the better.

are you the one who can't see past the end of his nose ? try justifying monkhouse's possession of a shirt after that.

To be fair to Aido his wooly hat was over his eyes most of the game.

The only soloution I can see is playing them against the reserves on Monday and twatting any fucker that puts the ball above chest height. Longball shite won't work for us, unless they learn to pass a fucking football we'll be in the bottom 6 by Christmas.

Was a pathetic display from front to back with only Murray looking like he'd turned up. We find out Poole is a class act up top, bangs in a few goals then the obvious move is to play him on the right. Clueless doesn't come close.

No. I wasn't shouting at players if that's what you mean.

I wasn't trying to justify monkhouse's placebin the team in the first place so don't see why I should now.

It was a crap team performance with one or two decent flashes from some players.

That was me. I thought he did have a good game against Wycombe. He didn't today, I agree with you, but he wasn't alone. If you feel my singling out of Boyd and nish is unnecessary then fair enough but I can assure you I don't think BY A MILE that they were alone in playing below par.

i agree with you about boyd but thought nish gave some of his critics a bot more of what they demand, i.e battling and winning headers.

I also think nish did ok today. But I think his partnership with Boyd is woeful. Like you say whenever he wins a header and flicks it on Boyd is nowhere near the ball. Sadly I think it's vice versa too. By contrast I feel Poole and monkhouse looked like having a decent understanding of what the other one was trying to do.

Charltons 2 forwards showed ours what hard work off the ball is. They closed down everything.

We were piss. Like a broken record. Lauch ball forward...ball comes back repeat.

If we are going to continue with it at we should at least be set up to get the knock downs.

The defense today was woeful.

I doubt Charlton will have a easier game all season.

I don't want anyone up front to win headers to be honest, I want them to use their feet. Relying on flick ons and knock downs only works when the midfield and supporting forward can pick up the pieces.

It's not our game and it confuses me why we keep doing it. the games we've won have been ones where we keep the ball and patiently build chances.

I never thought that we would win today based on recent performance and selections, I was going to stick a ton on Charlton at odds better than evens but it joust seemed like the scummy thing to do. If I'd known that MW was going to move our most threatening player from up front to the right then I would of not only put the bet on but probably doubled it.

The Boyd and Nish partnership doesn't work - it is obviously not mobile enough, neither player has pace and neither put defenders under pressure. Nish had his best game for ages and amazingly had a few shots but still didn't look like scoring, he showed a bit more aggression in the air but mainly headed to no one..... Boyd was poor but I still think a Boyd / Poole front two should be tried......

Like has been said I thought Murray was our best player - a proper footballer who will use both feet and he at least has a presence on the pitch. The rest were outclassed, the sad thing is I don't think CA broke a sweat......

boyd is poor but you'd play him up front with poole ?

sorry mate that doesn't make sense. sad to say boyd added nothing to the team today. and as for not wanting forwards to win headers ? surely they've got to deal with what's thrown their way ?

Boyd was poor today - that's today not the whole fukking season. Pound for pound give Boyd a season up front (without subbing him on 60 each week) and give Nish a season up front and Boyd will assist more goals and score more goals. In fact Monkey would create and score and create more than Nish up front, Nish did have an improved game because he won about 5 headers which is rare but none of them went to anyone. Nish had a few rare shots - but none of them troubled the keeper that I can remember.

I really don't think MW and Boyd get on - in fact I think it's fairly obvious that they don't. It's the only way to explain what's going on.

Oh behave. Boyd had an ideal opportunity today to stake a place for his shirt back, and hardly set the world alight. He's very fortunate there is little competion for places up front.

If Wadsworth didnt like him then why has he been playing him for most of the season ?

He's like the rest of them plays okay against the weaker sides and is anonymous against the better ones.

I can't understand why he is only playing 60 minutes every week. I suppose what I'm saying is all managers have players that they favour or prefer but I just don't think that Boyd is in the in crowd... He was poor today but I don't think he has been poor in every league game.... I also don't think he is unfit and only able to play for an hour either.......

I'm also still a bit annoyed that I didn't put that bet on - Charlton available at 2.26 on Betfair so basically I watched a shite game and chucked £126 away.....

whatever you lot say, I've accepted a lot of the players in this squad aren't good enough - those players are
Nish
Austin
Liddle
Collins
Sweeney
Humphreys
Boyd
Solano

and the management not good enough ,.i.e.
Wadsworth
Barron
Humphreys

get rid of that lot for next season and we may be half decent

Otherwise forget it

Also I don't give 2 fucks about anyone's precious opinions to the contrary

So which part do you disagree with

1) Boyd will score more goals and create more than Nish..?
2) Monkey will score and creat more than Nish..?
3) Nish won about 5 headers..?
4) Nish had some shots but they didn't trouble the keeper..?
5) That I think that AB and MW don't get on...
6) All of above

I can understand that you might not agree with point 3 because when Monkey won about the same amount of headers the other week I do believe you said he didn't win any.....?

I know penalty's don't count in your world but some would say that 5 goals in 11 starts is a decent return - even better when you consider that AB has only played 90 in one league game..... Something isn't right in my opinion.... Perhaps I shouldn't of shared that opinion but the fact that AB gets subbed all the time suggests that maybe MW doesn't rate him......

Not saying any more other than being subbed 10 out of 11 games is not normal. I might have only heard one side of the rumours but what has been said makes sense. If you can find me another 10 players around the country that are subbed on a consistent basis between 60 and 70 every week with equal goalscoring records to AB then I will change my opinion.
