I dispair sometimes, someone takes the time and trouble to open up a general topic which is re-lated to the foundation of this message board, and the only returns it attracts is ridicule of the lowest nature.

A simple solution to HUFC current problems i.e. Hooligan fans has been suggested and if all the message board loons can do is scoff then the HUFC bigwigs will do the same ...

I would put everything i have in my pocket right now to bet that if HUFC had been selling soup on tuesday night then the pitch invasion and subsequent fan rioting with a toe to toe battle with the stewards at the end would not have happened, yet all you lot do is scoff, and poo-poo my ideas...

Look at the loids they do a 3 course carvery with I'am lead to believe a soup starter........ case proven they did not have a rioting crowd on tuesday did they....?

If HUFC when writing their report for the FA tell them "we will stop this happening again by putting soup on" I'm sure the FA will be very pleased and use HUFC as a beacon of good practice which all clubs including the likes of chelski & manure will all be following in weeks...

I call on you board members to join together in a poolie pride campaign..... Bring soup to the VIC, and stamp out Hooligans........

I've got a better idea.

Why don't they sell winkles??

Then everybody'd be too busy fooking about with a pin trying to get the little bastads out to eat, to be rioting or misbehaving in any way shape or form.

Winkles, the way forward. Give the Torino fans winkles and they'd save a fortune on CS gas.

Mr Ed, I think its a cracking idea. I love soup me. Especially our lasses beetroot soup. They should sell beetroot soup at Pools.

Can you imagine hundreds of Poolies the following day all having pink pisses. And possibly Douglas Hurds, I must remember to check next time.

If anyone has some beetroot soup and it turns yer brown trouts pink, please let me know.

Why can't you just make do with bovril like the rest of us!

Good grief, top of the league for a few days and you're demanding soup no less! Where will this nonsense end?

Am I dreaming this or did we not used to sell Soup, and Jacket Potatoes, way back when..(Early 80's??)

Certainly used to sell baked potatoes, It was part of my tradition after driving up 250 miles for a home game to have a baked potato (or 2) before the game. Used to warm us up wonderfully aginst the biting chill 'sea breeze'. They should do it again, including the soup. Mind you, soup and baked potatoes one day carvery the next - maybe not.
