Greetings from Rochdale. Rumour is we're due to sign this keeper on loan. Reading his wikipedia link he seemed to impress at your place. He seemed pretty popular too.

Guessing he was good then?

Thanks.

Fantastic commitment as well, couple of months after his loan expired he still came to see us play down at Hillsbrough. Big, big future

What they said.

He came to us as cover and was called into first team action, you would hardly have known he had never played league football before coming here, a truly class act on and off the pitch.

You wont be disappointed if he performs like he did for us - a real star in the making.
We were in a relagation battle when he signed and were about 8th when he left us. Not all down to one man, but he played a massive part in our season

I hope he has a clause in his loan contract stating he won't play against us.

He's a good keeper but he wears socks with his sandals.

Quality keeper. Can think of several games last season where he played a huge part in us getting three points or pulled of great saves at key moments.

The away game at Huddersfield is the best one I can think of but the home game with Peterborough when, at only 1-0 up, he pulled of an astonishing save from a George Boyd shot also sticks in the memory. We then went up the pitch and made it 2-0 :grin:

Should get good reception when we play them both home and away.

We have a very good keeper.

Jake Kean was quality and a seemingly a great lad as well, I'm sure he'll do well. I'm amazed he's not been signed up higher than League One to be honest. I thought a Chmapionship club would have snapped him up, in fact Blackburn must have some good keepers...

Unless he refused to be in the not at all embarrassing Venky's Chicken advert;

:shock: :shock: :laugh:

Blimey! There's a blast from the past! Do you still post on the barrel?

Kean has signed on a season-long loan. I must admit I'm a bit nervous about signing him, I don't think we've ever signed a player who is universally loved by fans of his previous loan club!?!?

Would also have loved to see him back here. Flinders is good but not a patch on Kean imo.
