As you can guess I'm a Walsall fan. Was wondering what you lot think the chances are off the match being postponed?

I was really hoping to travel up for it (would have been a new ground for me) and I've been told the locals are really friendly.

We've got few cms of snow here, how bad is it up there?

Cheers

Very unlikely to be called off. We haven't had much of the white stuff up here and it has been years since we have had a game called off due to the weather, mainly because we have one of the top groundsman in the country.

looks promising then

from my stats (which might be a bit out) we've averaged around 720 to away games this season. biggest ones were localish 1800 to Shrewsbury, 1000 to Chester (but was a Friday night) 1200 to Hereford and Accy.

Safest place to be now I've seen those pictures from Bristol Rovers. I wondered what happened when they shut Winterton. I know now. They gave 'em all black, white and red gear and pointed them at the Carvery.

My sat nav lady says it takes 3 hours from here. so would be a case of leaving at 11 and straight to the ground, I like a bit more socialising than that

Just got off the phone to the ticket office, while me credit card was being processed I asked the lass about a pitch inspection and she asked someone called Dave (I assume Dave Brown) whilst I was on the phone whether there was an inspection planned and he said there were no plans and the pitch was lovely.

Get yourself up here!

nah there's only one of him :)

It's looking very unlikely there will be any away fans to make a noise. It's just taken me 50 minutes to drive a 5 minute journey!

You're not going to let those few flakes of snow put you off are you?

Get yourselves up here - I'm sure a warm welcome will be found in the Millhouse Pub (back corner of the lounge)

I'd love to come, but to be honest, it's not looking clever. It has finally stopped snowing here after 10 hours and the roads are icing up badly. It's not the A1(M) up to Teeside that bothers me or even the morning run but coming back through Nottingham at a crawl all the way home.

We'll see in the morning though!

Thats nowt that man, the main roads will be fine, gritted and clear, why don't you just admit that snow or no snow that you'll be lucky to bring 300 just like everyone else in this division (our illustrious Premiership bound neighbours from down the A66 apart of course).
We are in the north-east of England you know , no-where near Aberdeen.

If you wanted to come , you'd come, simple as

Westy is a very nice man.Was great with the kids, football wise he's a bit hit and miss at the moment. Either outstanding or complete cr@p. Hope it's outstanding tomorrow.
