why not move the Charlton game to that day if (as expected) they get knocked out by Spurs tomorrow. They were due to play Southampton who are through to round 4, while we are sat twiddling our thumbs cos our scheduled opponents Hudds are also through to round 4. I'm sure Charlton would also prefer that to playing Pools on Tuesday night, and everyone gets their Saturday fix and a home game to boot

Couldn't agree more, especially after the dumb decision to move to Rochdale game to a Friday night we have far too many night games already.

Its a good idea but it may be a non starter as far as Charlton are concerned. I know they not struggling financially, but a midweek game saves them money on a hotel if they so wish. They can travel up early Tuesday morning and home after the game. A Saturday afternoon K.O means hotel needed. Hope it comes off solely for the extra Charlton fans who will attend meaning more revenue for Pools.
