The result of the inspection may go along the ines of 'we'll take another look on Monday'. If the temperature is going to be below -2 like it has been there is no point even trying to get the game on...

It's as good as off now, I'll put money on it.

So it will probably be played Tuesday 21st December.

Though both teams may ask if can play it on 3rd round day otherwise they'll both have games on the

18th...21st...26th and 28th........

So we may know our 4th round opponents before we know if we're in to the 3rd round.

Yeovil board have said that league need to consider travelling fans - why should matches have to be left to last minute when they are very unlikely to go ahead.

Good point of that today was Exeter v Tranmere - 10:30 pitch inspection. Tranmere fans would struggle to get there on time, so would have to take a chance and set off.
This game was postponed - surely two/three hours early would have given a clear indication if match should be on.

I know that, as with our game v Yeovil, the late down pour of snow may have a made a difference, but sometimes it's obvious it won't go ahead, but the club shave to wait
