The Spurs boss thinks that the whole bidding system itself is a joke, more suitable for a TV talent show than a World Cup hosting decision. (Metro)

He told the BBC: 'It's like going on X Factor, coming on, doing what you do. You're either good or you're not good.

'It ain't a case that you then go back and meet up with the judges and have a chat for a couple of days and say 'You should be voting for me' or 'I'm a sexy bird and I'll get my gear off for you'.'
