sorry john but i cant agree with you we havent hoasted the thing since 66 so how is that right when in that time mexico have had it twice and so have Germany. Also that last big football competition we hoasted euro 97 was one of the most supported and best ever. Giving a country who destinations are miles, apart, who fans are thungs and openly racist and then a nation who s tiny and national football team pools could beat is a joke. I am absolutely convinced that both these countries got their votes through bribes. Those with votes will have known that with the publicity surrounding the corruption this is probably their last chance at a big pay day.

Given that we got knocked out in the first round of voting with two paltry votes I think The FA should spit it's dummy out and stop all overseas development programmes.

I said the same to people at work yesterday. They'll take their last big backhanders and resign / retire / welcome to the board before they're investigated and get the boot. That's also probably a big part of the reason why they decided to award two at once this time around which they've never done before, double bribes before fooking off.
