Does anyone know where I can get a fairly cheap 500GB laptop hard drive?
Computer shops in Hartlepool preferably but if anyone knows any dodgey hard drive dealers let me know!

Kev to be honest with you, Buy an external one! You can get an external 1TB hard disk for £50 nowadays... Bargain!

Fair point but it sounds like he needs to replace the system drive rather than obtain additional storage.

Or Kingfisher Computers in Church Street. 280955
I've used them for my own stuff and work stuff and they're good lads in there.

Cheers for the suggestion but I don't need anyone to fit it just supply (keep my costs down too)

Cheers, Just rang them and they do 1TB drives for £60 which is fairly resonable. They also threw a spanner in the works by saying their 250GB drives are only £25. Not the size I wanted but very cheap!
He said they can't get hold of 500GB ones at the moment.
