Team for tonight, Brown dropped to bench, Humps lone striker, Gamble back in, looks like we're going for a point.

it was a shyte game down there last season with both teams playing for 0-0 . to be honest i would take a draw now.

I remember it well. Mind we should have won that given O'Donovan missed the best chance of the game when clean through on the keeper.

To be fair to Mr I, i think most of us feared the worst when we saw the "forward line".

Credit to Mick though, he got it right in the end!

Not at all.

The couple of games Humphreys played up front earlier in the season before he was injured he looked like the best bet of those available. Obviously he doesn't compare against Browny but as has been said, just coming back from injury would it've been right to play Brown from the start again so soon? If that was the case who would you have rather started up front?

I agree that Ritchie looked ok as a forward earlier in the season and he is probably the best bet right now apart from Browny. What my post was referring to was what upon hearing that Browny wasnt playing last night and was to be replaced by Ritchie, a lot of people would have doubted a result.

By the sounds of things Ritchie struggled but then if Browny isnt fit Wadsworth didnt have much option.

It worked out in the end though
