It's a download control programme, very versatile and reliable. If you lose your broadband connection and have to reboot, it just starts where it left off. I use it to download all the Pools stuff.

I keep getting this shite message about 'Generic Host For Win 32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to shut down.' Is it Microsoft bollocks and if I install Firefox will it go away??

Exactly what it says above. It's not always when I'm downloading though. I can have a really low workload on and the bastard just pops up and kills the internet connection dead.

Ah well, I reckon a rebuild is probably beyond me so it looks like a matter of living with it.
