The article goes on to mention some changes that will be implenented in the near future that will whet the appetite of supporters.....sounds interesting.

I've noticed Turner is saying a lot of things that the chairman or Russ Green would be, in fact we've not heard a peep out of either for a while.

Maybe these rumours aren't as wide of the mark as it has been suggested, something is obviously going to happen. I don't think Turner will be manager next season for one.

Gateshead must be shotting some money around, Ben Clark is better than the BSP.

i remember reading at some point in the last year or so about Pools are always looking out for new investment.....maybe these rumours are something to do with LOG (or whoever) investing money in Pools, rather than buying us?

Still, very interesting comments!

Well I've just paid for our season tickets today and after reading those comments I'm a bit more optimistic about next season than I was. Hopefully we will have something to look forward to :-o

Positive Turner, brilliant stuff we need more of this talk:

“The main ambition here at the club is to achieve Championship football and to finish inside the top eight of this division next season is our goal"

i liked this comment :

“Towards the end of last season, we had some great victories against Carlisle, Colchester and Southend"

pretty sure carlisle and southend were back end of feb early march. must have been cos ritchie jones was in the starting line up and humps was on the bench.

Yep.

Jones played in goal, right across the back four, all the way across the midfield and in both forward positions. Nobody else turned out for Pools in those games, it was just Richie Jones v the rest and he won them all on his own.
