Credit where credit's due. Well done to Tubby today. Spotted that we were outnumbered in midfield, changed things with McSweeney moving into a central position and O'Donovan covering out wide and from that change we never looked back. Matched them in all the important areas. We all know we have too much quality in this squad to be where we are and let's hope we can build on this when we play the bottom two in our next two games and reach safety with games to spare.
Two saves from Flinders today were top notch and he deserved his Man of the Match award.
Good to see Richie get an ovation when he was subbed. He has his critics but over the last four games no-one has put more effort into turning things around than him.
Well done all concerned.
Hope fully Tubby will also see that no-one wants him to fail. W would all like a successful manager and if it is him then even better given that he is committed to the club. But at the same time we can't carry on under-achieving like we have done for so long this season.
