From the mail.

"It hurts me of course it does," he said.

"It would hurt Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger. Wenger has had criticism this season from the press, fans on phone-ins and messageboards.

"But you have to rise above it, get your mind on track and do the job to get us in the division for next season.

"I don't know if people think I am personally not bothered. I've got more passion than anyone for the job for this club to succeed.

"We put the hours in and do everything for it. Sometimes things go against us and I understand the frustration.

"I lift myself because I take pride in what I do and what I have done in the past for this football club and I'm sure I will take pride in what I do in the future for this football club."

It obviously doesn't hurt him enough.
If he had ten per cent of the passion for the club that he says he has, he would be knocking on Hodcroft's door to tell him that a new body was needed in the managerial chair.
I'm sorry but I don't buy into this rubbish.

If you read the fans comments Chris then answer me this.

You were waxing lyrical about our two recent home games where we scored seven goals were you not????
So why didn't you field the same team that scored three against Southend without reply????
EH EH EH EH EH.

With us needing a goal to get a point at Southampton why did you take O'donovan off and put Mackay on, when you had Boyd on the bench and needed to go for broke? Would it not have been better to leave O'Donovan on plus Boyd and sacrifice a defender or midfielder? There were only minutes left, so what did we have to lose?

Just what crime has Boyd committed that he should be by passed for Mackay?

Why not pick Boyd and O'Donovan against Swindon, with Monky on the left?

Now think long and hard about the next question.

Why don't you look at your record as a manager in league one, both here and elsewhere? What does it tell you? If you were the chairman/owner of the club, would you continue to back a manager with that record?

And last but not least.

Give me one good reason why any of us season ticket holders should renew those tickets for next season if you take us down, or you are still in the managerial seat, or both.

I just hope when we stay up, Turner gets no praise at all.

I hope that when / if we stay up that uncle ken doesnt use the "lets build on this with Turner in charge" approach.

I hate using football and business in the same breath but if Turner was in charge of another part of IOR would he still be the manager? Ken need to think about this point very hard in my opinion.

Why does Tubby have such a hold over IOR?

Its no surprise he brings up "whats he's done in the past"
You didn't get us promoted Chris, Mike Newell did after you walked out on us after being given a massive budget to get us out of division 4.
Its getting beyond a joke now.
Maybe there is no job for him upstairs and thats why he's hanging on.
But what sort of chairman lets this continue banghead

only Turner himself and Hodcroft think that Turner can do a job as a manager

Everyone else (and I'll bet that includes all the players as well as fans) can see he is now out of his depth by a long way

Completely and hopelessly inadequate in every single sense of the word

I bet theres around 3000 people (at the moment) who would have alot more passion for the job than he does! As an outsider looking in, I think the bloke is deluded!!

Likewise sadx

I dont think Turner will still be in charge next season but if he is then there is no way I will be attending Pools whether as a season ticket holder or even pick and choosing games.

If the club would be so stupid and oblivious to the fans wishes then they deserve to fail (which they will with that loser in charge)

Basically we'll be having a very similar conversation in 12 months... hopefully in the violin same division though!

If Turner did listen, to me on Saturday anyway, shortly after he walked down the tunnel he'd have went to "fuck himself" before going for a long walk, never to return.

I guess he doesn't listen to me confised to be fair I've been in more rational moods than I was at that specific moment :uhoh:

Because Hodcroft would opt to buy him a deluxe yacht instead.
