Been out with a few of the lads and talking to Tony (Groovy) and we both agreed its foooking awful at the match these days.
We even agreed its worse than the Scott days because at least then we had something to moan at.
The first half passed me in a daze and I was more interested in checking my phone to see how the other scores were going.
A few of us made our usual trek to the vic lounge, this time 10 minutes before the end of the 1st half, mainly because the fare on offer was boring, uneventful and totally lacking in any decent football.
We actually got kicked out at 4.15, (to be truthful I could have stayed there until ten to 5) and stayed the last half hour to watch more dross, the only excitement being the turner out cries from the town end.
Surely this cant continue, something has to give.
I've never felt more disillusioned in 30 years of watching pools.
Well, maybe I have but I certainly cant remember
