this in the week you claimed leeds were a bigger club than newcastle. sctatchinghead

tigro almost certainly a darlo fan. he obviously never goes to watch pools cos he is always on here when we are playing.

Ha, because I really wish I was at work doing 8am - midnight.
Obviously I would have been at Norwich had I got the day off and been lucky enough to get a ticket.
As I say I read the forum to pass the time, and Leeds get brought up plenty so always gives me the opportunity to reply.

Rather sad this whole fiasco, we're watching the complete capitulation of our teams stay in League 1, and all some people can do is have a cheap shot at Leeds' expense.

Turner I would'nt have you in charge of the Globe Ladies Darts Wednesday Night B Team.

You need to face the facts, unless we get someone else in charge we are as good as relegated, i think 99% of the board would agree on that.

If you want to laugh at Leeds go on their forums and stop cluttering the bunker with your shyte.
You should be talking about us and the shyte we're in.

With respect, this is why the Bunker is in it's terminal stages. Violence is never a good thing as an answer, I'd be interested to read any response that says it is.

Simple insults about people with mental difficulties and monetary issues brings the whole thing down to a market place, bare knuckle level.

This is why intelligent people tend to avoid the Bunker now.

I've, by the way, decided to rescind the 'with respect' opening comment.

I can't respect posts like this.

Spender, I agree with you that chip’s remark is totally below the belt. But it’s not violence. What was much more in the nature of violence was, for instance, the number of posts tolerated by the moderators against a certain young member of the board not long ago. A leading moderator was himself the ring-leader in this abuse, as was a near-relative of another moderator. No-one with any authority batted an eyelid.
So, I can tell you why many people have stopped posting. I know why because they’ve given their explanations. They are in general either totally glutted with the number of racist, homophobic and politically intolerant posts which have usually been started by moderators themselves, or else they’re fed up to the back teeth with moderators picking and choosing who is eligible for criticism and who will get a blind eye turned, whatever he says.

I respect a lot of what you say Chip and agree fully re your sentiments that the fact Leeds got beat shouldn't really cheer any of us Pools supporters up. But you have been calling a few people retards of late and its difficult to place that in anything other than the "childish insult" bracket.

the wise words of tigro the non abusive pools fan who doesnt go to games :

" as for my team, I know we are relegated anyway "

" no I havent been for a while "

" take your head out of your arse and act your age. tit. "

im not resorting to childish insults. im pointing out that rarfs like him should be shot in the head and their bodies dumped in a skip. there was a time when this board was populated by decent, reasonable people, who could construct an argument AND appreciate irony and sarcasm.

genuine pools fans, who got to as many games as they could, and supported their team through thick and thin. not tossers who sit at home in front of a keyboard typing " what did i tell you " every time we concede a goal.

hth.

Take a look at yourself, throwing insults on a board like this, you must be a sad, sad person, thats all I have to say on the matter. Keep throwing your weight about on a message board, mr hard man. As for the statement calling me a rarf, try taking a look at some of your own posts, your probably the biggest rarf on this board at times. I think alot of people would agree.

The big problem we've got, as I see it, is that quite a few people look first at the name of the poster. If it is somebody they don't like or have had a disagreement with then that post/poster is immediately attacked.
I suppose it is a reflection of the way society is going.
Manners and respect are a thing of the past unfortunately.

he claims to be a hartlepool united fan and yet at quarter to five on saturday he was " rolling on the floor laughing " cos leeds got beat.

he wasnt bothered about pools getting beat cos " they are relegated already ".

these threads baiting other teams fans are puerile garbage, and were the very reason the bunker was initially different to message boards like rivals. im sorry, but anyone starting a thread and posting no text just a row of smileys, purely to generate shyte should be banned.

if you want to taunt fans of other teams, then welcome to the board onto their message boards and do it.

im happy to debate sensibly anything pools related till the cows come home. but im not gonna sit back and let this place degenerate into the gutter, and watch my mates quit the board, because its over-run with idiots who when all is said and done arent really even fooking fans of the club.

as far as im concerned either these spectards who sit on the sidelines at their keyboards go, or i do.

Fair enough. I disagree over calling people retards regardless of how foolish they/their comments/posts are and FWIW I think the initial post was foolish and immature. But points have been made and I'm happy to leave it at that.

Fully agree. I am very unhappy about what's going on and was totally gutted by the loss on Saturday. I still don't think its the end of the road as the games coming up are more crucial IMO. But anything less than 4 points at the weekend and I think it'll be a tough, tough ask to stay up.

I agree johnny rowell has potential and hope he does progress into the 1st team, but I also think that if he was as good a player as some people believe, he would be in there already.
james brown, sweeney and boydy all managed to break into the 1st team pretty early on and for the most part stay there if fit and can be bothered
I didnt hear anyone shout abuse at him on saturday other than a few boo's when he played the ball back to our centre half rather than playing it forward.
I'm more cheesed off with the abuse sweeney gets because at the end of the day someone has got to be a runner from midfield and the fact no fooker can play a forward pass does'nt do him any favours
