 Post subject: Just One Cornetto Give It To Me!!!!

Now when I was a kid these Cornettos cost a fortune....I'm sure they were at least 50/80p each....and I only ever got one as a treat when we were in somewhere like Scarborough on a day trip!!!! confised

I actually think I've only ever had about 5 in my life!!!! violin

Bought the bairn a box of 6 yesterday for £1.09!!!! :shock: :shock:

Strawberry aswell....the only ones I've tasted....and I still haven't had one!!!! sadx

The same goes for 'Hard Cornets'....when I was a kid they were for Adults only!!!! sadx

Loved a Saturday though when I was a kid....taking The Bowl out to the Ice Cream Van to get filled up....once in a Blue Moon!!!! sadx :grin:

Kids these days don't know they are born!!!! confised :grin:

Every Sunday afternoon when the ice cream van came round the old fella half asleep from his Sunday session used to give us some money and we would take a big bowl out and get it filled, thats when they only sold ice cream and not fags.

Also there used to be a off licence in Mulgrave road where as a kid you could take a jug up and ask them to fill it for your dad from a keg they had, can anyone remember it
