...so i decided to compare some of the last few seasons stats for goals scored and goals conceded.

This season we are scoring on average 1.29 goals per match and conceding 1.5

last season we scored 1.43 but conceded 1.72

07/08 we scored 1.43 and conceded 1.43

all pretty boring stuff until i compared it to the playoff final season where we scored 1.65 and conceded 1.43

so my conclusion is that defensively we are of similar quality to the playoff team but the difference is in the scoring dept.

Incidentally the difference between the 07/08 season (our first back in league one with DW) and the playoff final season was a measly 10 goals scored...

As i say i was/am still bored and writing this hasnt helped!

The bit about 07/08 was pretty interesting, tho, wasn't it? I wonder what the odds are against that happening.

I'd analyse that as we have to score more goals than we concede and then we'll do OK??

I've done some checking too...in 2009 I was drinking 6.96 cups of tea a day, yet in 2005 it was 3.66 ...and 1.45 picnic bars per 5.76545679834237584 days.
